J’aimerais suggerer… I would like to suggest… Quisiera sugerir…
From Web2forDev
- More real examples of participation (I know you are doing it!)
- What the participation processes behind web2.0? What makes it inclusive, accountable, representative, transparent?
- I would like to see the integration of web2fordev + C4D
- It would be good to hear stories from Asia + South America
- ‘Low bandwidth certified’ CMS, blog, wiki, widget, ………
- Panel discussions should allow participants to provide comments + share experiences to enrich discussions + not just limit them to asking questions. It was a lost opportunity
- SMS 2.0
- Allowing for questions at the end of each parallel session as not everyone is interested in staying in the same room for all 3 sessions. They may want to switch to another room’s session
- Developing a series of criteria for using the tag Web2ForDev
- Create Africa working group on web 2.0 – tobias at kabissa dot org
- List of participants
- What is the top priority info that each stakeholder needs to reduce poverty and hunger? For example:
- 1. Farmer
- Market data
- (Education)
- (Biz)
- 2. Donor
- Outcome/ Impact
- (Research)
- (?)
- 3. NGO
- Solution exchange
- Training
- (?)
- 4. Govt (local)
- 5. Researchers
- I realize Context! Culture matter! Can we generalize?
- Editorial comment: Focusing mostly on the web 2.0 puts “cart before the horse”. Balance needed
- send comments to pamkm at Comcast dot net
- Hands on to learn how to setup web2 site
- $ 100 printer
- Give us some time between the session. Please! (5 min. to find the room)
- Concentrate more on mobiles to really have the ‘world’ participating
- Following up on my intervention concerning steps, I would like to suggest that a small group of organisers and participants be put together. This group would report to the plenary with recommendations for how to proceed. Such a group should be put together this afternoon, I would argue. I have to leave for a meeting now at IFAD. Will hopefully return during lunch.
- Web2forDev QUO VADIS? Where do we go from here? And what do we do there? I suggest we discuss and agree on our next steps!
