HOW TO MAKE TOOLS MORE USER FRIENDLY, INTERESTING, APPEALING . TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO USE THEM

1. Include pictures and videos encourages people to visit the blog on wiki and as a result contribute 2. Including pod casts(recorded clips) as a content instead of text would encourage people to listen and respond. 3. The moderator should keep informing people through email of the changes made within the wiki or a blog. is involves members

4. Commending people's effort to contribute/ share e.g add a page showing most contributions on a wiki or thank members for contributions on d-groups (mailing list) 5. Create awareness of the importance of web 2.0 tools and their value added 6. Develop a culture of communicating strictly via the chosen tool e.g. wiki that way you get people to contribute 7. Find out people's needs, select a tool to answer them and build capacity on using the tool.
