First steps on wiki

Wiki since to be very interesting, even though you have to know the appropiate syntax, which I am still trying to figure out. I would like to ask you: which tool do you prefer the most: wiki or blog? why? this little survey will help to decide which tool to use in my network's work.

Each tool is relevant to different needs. I work much more with wikis because my work centers around knowledge sharing of/with people dispersed around the world, so I need that they work on projects, events. etc collaboratively. For that wiki is much more useful. A tip about syntax: You can find a very simple table summarizing the syntax at: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Formatting or in the simple guide on how to use this wiki http://www.web2fordev.net/fileadmin/docs/Info_on_wiki.pdf. All these instructions are available under Help in the left hand menu. I hope that you will find wiki to be useful for you in future!
