2. Start with email and train management on data (file sizes), file management, data compression, attachments

3. To avoid loss of data due to interruptions in connections always create documents in a text editor and then paste to your email s that you always have a copy.

4. Turning off images during browsing and chat for yahoo and gmail

5. Train people in effective searching.

6. Work with a third party to manage data remotely

7. Use RSS feeds to keep a record of sites often visited.

8. Use text files as attachments instead of Ms. Word

9. Use plain text instead of HTML

10. Use alternative computers like the thin client (www.ndiyo.org)

11. Use myglite.org instead of mail.gmail.org
